EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a part time Respite Companion to join the Respite Companion program.    Salary: $17/ hour Schedule: up to 20 hours per week Location: Travel to clients homes throughout Nassau County region   What drives the core purpose of this job: To provide "time off" for the caregiver of a home-bound elderly person.   What are the key responsibilities: Participate in orientation and in-service workshops. Provide supervision and companionship on an individual basis to elderly persons.  Assist care recipient with everyday routines such as eating, walking and light exercise.
