Rapid and sustained growth has us seeking a Field Service Technician to be part of our Technical Support team. As a field service engineer, you are an essential face of the organization. This position will require travel for hands-on training during the first year. After the initial training, this position will be based in St. Louis with occasional travel. Qualifications: • Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company are critical requirements • Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting • Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus • Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning • Must be self-motivated and project-driven Duties: • Participate in installation, repairs, and maintaining the equipment while adding value for the customer • Travel on-site for troubleshooting any issues our customer has with machinery • Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates prior to customer visit.
