Set up and operate GNSS equipment, robotic total stations, levels, data collectors, and other survey tools according to experience and direction.
Locate and document monuments, improvements, utilities, terrain features, and other items required for the survey.
Keep accurate notes, sketches, photographs, and point descriptions so the office team can understand the field work.
Perform routine measurement and data checks; tell the crew chief about discrepancies, damaged monuments, unsafe conditions, or information that appears to be missing.
Help transfer and organize field data and, when qualified, assist with basic office or CAD tasks.
Charge, clean, inventory, and care for equipment; help keep the crew vehicle ready for field work.
Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements, including those for traffic and construction sites.

Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a crew.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain, walk and stand for extended periods, and carry survey equipment and supplies.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites; some assignments may require overnight travel.
