Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Archdale - Archdale, NC, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Position Summary The Machine Operator II (Moulder) will be responsible for safely operating and feeding a moulder and making small corrections, as necessary. They will safeguard that the machine is accurately producing the products to customer and company specifications. Essential Responsibilities Sets up and adjusts moulder to specifications for each product assigned. Follows specific directions as defined on route sheet. Ensures proper quality of product coming off machine, inspecting product and discarding product that does not meet standards. Responsible for maintaining proper moulder speed (100 FPM). Communicates any quality issues related to machine operations with Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications (Required) Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED. Demonstratable experience with moulder set-up skills. Ability to read calipers and tape measure. Must know and understand Basic math including a decimal chart. Effective Interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills Maintain good housekeeping practices. Follow all safety rules and guidelines according to OSHA standard and company policies. Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment. Preferred Qualifications 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar breakout/rough mill or manufacturing atmosphere. Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.
