Job Details: Job Location: Main - Childress, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Admissions Clerk is a person with knowledge of office techniques, the use of office machines and must be able to deal with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Responsible for placing arm bands for identification purposes on each patient. Obtain current demographic data from the patient or family. Insurance- Obtain current information. Make copy of cards. Make certain insured’s name, group number and ID number are correct and match card. Verify benefits, Pre-certify insurance. Full Time: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM Qualifications: Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Ability to work under pressure.  Participates in continuing education programs both in and outside of facility. Basic knowledge of office techniques and business machines. Ability to work with public under stressful situations. Pleasant phone manners. Willingness to work weekend rotation. Maintain good attendance for scheduled shifts.
