Job Details: Job Location: The Wybe and Marietje Kroontje Healthcare Center - Blacksburg, VA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Warm Hearth Village is searching for a dedicated Full Time Kitchen Assistant to become part of the team at the Kroontje Health Care Center. Starting payrate 14.00 - 17.00 per hour No previous experience in food service is required--we're looking for people with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work as a part of a team. We provide company paid ServSafe certification and CPR/FA, along with uniforms and work shoes. This position can be a steppingstone to further career opportunities throughout Warm Hearth Village and the wider healthcare field. This is a great way to get your foot in the door in dining services and at Warm Hearth Village.   Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or GED Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift. Shifts hiring for: Full Time 5:30am to 2:00pm with every other weekend shifts. Expected start date is as soon as possible. Assure dining room is cleaned and stocked. Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment. Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner according to local and state guidelines.
