Neil Huffman Auto Group is looking for a title clerk for our Corporate office! RESPONSIBILITIES: Process and obtain title and all documentation needed to purchase and complete sale of vehicle. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Office Manager DUTIES: • Assist in collecting and paying taxes. • Interact with county clerks in completing transfer documents. • Issues refund checks when appropriate. • Transfer ownership of vehicles from buyer to seller and from seller to buyer in an accurate and timely manner. • Maintain neat and professional appearance of person and work area. • Arrive before designated starting time • Attend licensing classes as needed. • All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. SPECIAL SKILLS: • Excellent communication and people skills. • Maintain good driving record. • Detail oriented. • Computer literate. • Ability to recognize and react to time-sensitive issues. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: • High School diploma or GED equivalent. • Bookkeeping background preferred. • Knowledge of Kentucky/Indiana title laws preferred.
