Your day will include: Safely operating a ready-mix concrete truck to and from customer job sites. Delivering ready-mix concrete safely, efficiently, and professionally. Performing required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintaining your truck and keeping the cab, drum, and exterior clean. Communicating with dispatch, plant personnel, customers, and your fellow drivers. Using company-provided tablets and electronic devices to manage deliveries and job information. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement. Ability to meet applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) qualification requirements, including required physical and drug/alcohol testing. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including bending, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions and safety information necessary to safely perform the job. Ability to follow maps, directions, delivery instructions, and job-site requirements.
