Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Support mold repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities. Perform basic welding, fabrication, machining, and bench work. Help maintain preventative maintenance schedules and tooling documentation. Enter and update work orders and maintenance records. Assist Tooling Supervisors and Managers with special projects. Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and company procedures. Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED. Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn a skilled trade. Willingness to attend technical school/classes as required by the apprenticeship program. Ability to commit to a 3-4 year apprenticeship that combines classroom education and hands-on training. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation to work and training locations. Preferred: Technical school coursework or vocational training. Manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, machining, or industrial experience. Basic welding or fabrication experience.
