Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Green Bay - Green Bay, WI, Position Type: F/T Regular, Education Level: Special Certification, Salary Range: $32.00 - $40.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN Functions and Responsibilities: Read and interpret basic drawings, weld procedure specifications (WPS), and welding symbols Able to identify weld discontinuities Basic understanding of weld acceptance criteria Basic weld inspection tool usage: fillet gauge, V-WAC gauge, combination square, protractor, caliper, tape measure, flashlight, mirror, magnifying glass, temperature crayon Ability to answer welding-related questions or know where to direct questions Fully inspect weldments and sub-weldments  Document results of inspections, including VT reports and weld maps Comprehend the introduction to First Article Inspection (FAIs) Communicate welding nonconformances to Welding Supervisor, Welding Trainer, Welder Development Coordinator, Lead Weld Inspector Maintain material certifications and inspection documentation  Label nonconforming parts  Use calibrated measuring equipment where applicable Follow all safety procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required Good verbal and written communication skills is required Qualifications: Minimum Requirements of Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Must be a US citizen.
