Essential Job Functions Check all safety devices, assuring they are in place and in working order prior to operating the machine. Thread machine and change bobbin as needed. Retrieve/distribute materials as needed. Prior to sewing, inspect and repair any operations incorrectly done, including unacceptable stitches, on materials provided to you. Operate various automatic machines without the use of guides, completing the most difficult operations within the product line in which you are working. Non-Essential Job Functions Attend training and meetings as scheduled. Perform other duties as apparent or assigned. Qualifications: Working Conditions Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Must be able to follow verbal instructions. Must have the dexterity to operate various industrial sewing machines. Must consistently meet production and quality standards of a Level IV operator. Must consistently exceed production and quality standards of a Level III operator. Education and Work Experience Prior experience performing difficult sewing functions using an industrial sewing machine. Consistently meet production and quality standards of a Level II operator.
