Job Details: Job Location: Hugos Family Marketplace - Store #11 - E 4th St - Park Rapids, MN, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $13.00 - $14.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, Job Purpose: - The Cashier at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently and accurately processing transactions at the point of sale (POS). The role involves managing cash transactions, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, and adhering to store policies and procedures to ensure a secure and pleasant shopping experience for customers. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries to enhance their shopping experience. - Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and debit purchases. - Handle cash responsibly, make change accurately, and count the cash register at the beginning of each shift. - Assist customers with product information and location within the store. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment. - Follow store policies and procedures, including security and loss prevention measures, to protect company assets. - Provide support in other areas of the store as needed, contributing to a team-oriented environment.
