With a predictable schedule combining every other weekend and one weekday morning shift, this opportunity is ideal for someone looking to supplement their income, maintain their healthcare skills, or enjoy a better balance between work and personal commitments. Medication Aide certification is preferred, but not required. We welcome qualified LPN candidates as well as individuals with relevant healthcare and medication administration experience. 💊 What You'll Do Administer medications within your credentials, scope of practice, and training. Prepare and organize medications according to established procedures. Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare provider. Maintain accurate medication records and clinical documentation. Support daily healthcare operations and collaborate with the nursing team. Follow established medication administration procedures and patient safety protocols. Protect patient confidentiality and maintain professional standards. Help provide compassionate care in a safe, secure correctional healthcare environment. 📅 Your Schedule One 8-hour shift every other Saturday. One 8-hour shift every other Sunday. Qualifications: ✅ What We're Looking For For LPN Candidates: Current Wisconsin LPN license or a multistate license valid for practice in Wisconsin. Current CPR certification, as required. Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team. Previous nursing experience preferred. For Medication Aide Candidates: Medication Aide certification preferred, but not required. Previous medication administration, healthcare, caregiving, CNA, or medical assistant experience is a plus. Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it as required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to medication safety. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a structured correctional healthcare setting.
