You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, while providing meaningful care to an underserved population. ✨ And yes, there's a Sign-On & Retention Bonus available for this opportunity. 🩺 What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice Provide routine nursing services, sick call, and chronic care Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate provider Provide patient education and support Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with the healthcare and correctional teams Promote a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment Practice within your professional scope, licensure, and established clinical guidelines Qualifications: 📋 What You'll Need Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Wisconsin Current CPR certification Previous nursing experience preferred Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team Professionalism, compassion, and respect for patient confidentiality Ability to work effectively in a structured correctional environment 💚 Why Southern Health Partners?
