Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Certified Medication Aide to join our full-time night-shift team at Madison County Jail in Huntsville, Alabama. Work 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM, including every other weekend, while building valuable clinical experience in a structured correctional healthcare setting. Night and weekend shift differential Sign-on and retention bonus available Consistent 12-hour shift schedule A safe and secure work environment An opportunity to make a meaningful impact beyond the traditional clinical setting 🩺 What You'll Do Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs Support medication administration within your certification, authorized duties, and applicable regulations Prepare patients for provider visits, examinations, and treatments Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation Assist with medication passes and routine healthcare duties Recognize and report changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent medical needs Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality patient care Qualifications: ✅ Qualifications A current, applicable certification is REQUIRED. Applicants must hold one of the following: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certified Medication Aide Additional requirements: Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it upon hire, as applicable Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Availability to work 12-hour night shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required.
