PowerBI Developer Summary: The PowerBI Developer will lead CarNow's data strategy and PowerBI development to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will oversee internal and external reporting, data governance, and analytics functions, ensuring the delivery of accurate, actionable insights that drive growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is both a strategic and hands-on developer who brings a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for building scalable data systems in a SaaS environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines, warehouses, and analytical tools. • Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Finance leaders to identify data opportunities that drive efficiency, customer engagement, and growth. • Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, and security standards across all business functions. • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, executive scorecards, and analytical reporting for stakeholders. • Introduce advanced analytics and predictive modeling capabilities to improve forecasting, operations, and customer outcomes. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed data-driven intelligence directly into CarNow's platform. • Drive continuous improvement of analytics processes, data accuracy, and automation initiatives. • Stay ahead of emerging trends in data architecture, AI, and analytics technologies to keep CarNow at the forefront of innovation. Requirements: • 7+ years of experience in data and analytics, including 3+ years in a PowerBI development • Proven experience building and scaling infrastructure in a SaaS or technology company. • Deep technical knowledge of modern data architectures, including data lakes, ETL/ELT, and cloud-based systems (AWS, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.). • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and analytics visualization tools (Power BI,BoldBI etc.). • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks. • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable analytics strategies. • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master's preferred. Preferred Skills: • Experience implementing machine learning or AI-driven analytics solutions. • Familiarity with data-driven SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, etc.). • Automotive or retail industry experience is a plus. • Strong business storytelling and data visualization skills.
