As a critical member of our manufacturing company specializing in power transfer equipment for utilities, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned region.  Responsibilities:  Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and market share growth within the region.  Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the performance of the regional sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure sales goals are met.  Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects, addressing their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.  Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.  Sales Target Achievement: Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales goals.  Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the executive team.  Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services, enabling effective communication with customers.  Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional sales budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.  Travel: Travel within the region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and manage the sales team.  Qualifications: Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).  Proven experience in sales and sales management, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership position.  Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of the utilities industry and power transfer equipment is a plus.  Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities.  Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.  Willingness to travel within the assigned region.  Physical Demands: The Regional Sales Manager position is primarily office-based, but it requires significant travel within the region.
