You'll be working alongside experienced tile installers, learning the tricks of the trade, and helping to create beautiful and durable surfaces that our clients will love. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of surfaces before tile installation, ensuring they are clean and ready for work. - Help measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, following the guidance of experienced installers. - Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and other materials needed for tile installation. - Transport tiles and materials to and from the job site, ensuring everything is organized and accessible. - Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition for daily use. - Support the installation team by holding tiles in place and ensuring they are level and properly aligned. - Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. - Learn and develop new skills in tile installation, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.Qualifications: Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience: - Experience in manual labor or construction environments - Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in tile installation - Previous experience in a similar helper role is a plus Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of a lead installer - Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Basic understanding of safety practices in a construction setting - Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members - Attention to detail to ensure the quality of tile installation - Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and methods
