What You'll Do Operate forklifts to move totes of product and materials throughout the plant, supply production lines, and load and unload shipments. Your attention to safety, accuracy, and food handling will help protect our employees, products, and customers. Your responsibilities will include: • Coordinate with management to maintain accurate inventory and product traceability. • Supply production lines with the materials needed to keep operations running. • Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments. • Follow customer-specific shipping and loading instructions. • Load trailers in accordance with applicable legal weight requirements. • Prevent allergen cross-contact and product contamination during handling, loading, and unloading. • Keep forklifts clean and sanitary, and report equipment concerns. • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with maintenance tasks as assigned. • Identify, document, and help resolve discrepancies involving customer or regulatory requirements. • Operate forklifts, man-lifts, and scissor-lifts in accordance with company safety policies and applicable training requirements. • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring • At least two years of forklift operating experience. • Experience with inventory tracking and recordkeeping. • A commitment to safe equipment operation, food safety, and accurate work. • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on concrete for up to 10 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. • A high school diploma or GED.
