Job Summary Lunghamer Buick GMC is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing service team in Waterford, Michigan. This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles while delivering the high level of quality and communication our customers expect. Compensation & Benefits • Competitive, generous flat-rate pay (based on experience) • Flexible work schedules • Health insurance • 401(k) with company match • PTO & sick leave • Up to 3 weeks paid vacation • Paid training and manufacturer support • Growth and advancement opportunities • Employee discounts • A busy shop with consistent work Service Technician Responsibilities • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards • Test drive vehicles and inspect components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding vehicle needs and additional repairs • Provide accurate time estimates for repairs • Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications Service Technician Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance • ASE certification preferred • Fast learner, dependable, and team-oriented • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Customer-focused mindset • Computer skills and willingness to learn new systems • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Equal Opportunity Employer Lunghamer Buick GMC is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
