Job Details: Job Location: EMERGENCY SANCTUARY FACILITIES 3 - Staten Island, NY, Position Type: On Call, Education Level: High School/GED, Salary Range: $18.50 - $24.73Hourly, Job Shift: Day, SUMMARY:  Provides direct care to families assigned to Emergency Hotel Family. HOURS:  On-Call - Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitors, screens, and oversees all families assigned to the Emergency Hotel. Responsible for safety and security of all families assigned to the Emergency Hotel Works closely with the case management staff to meet the needs of the families. Assists families in developing their ADL skills, housekeeping as needed. Transports and accompanies clients to various appointments as needed. Engage families on a one on one basis as needed to afford socialization opportunities. Monitor families for adherence to project and hotel rules. Responds to family health and mental health needs as needed. Complete bed roster / bed assignment as needed in DHS-CARES system Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED required Food Handler's Certificate required Experience with homeless and substance use populations needed A clean and valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a passenger van necessary Ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse projects Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues The physical ability to perform the essential job functions is needed In addition, the Client Care Coordinator shall perform any duties as required to meet the needs of the agency and the clients that we serve.  The agency reserves the right to review and change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises.
