Job Details: Job Location: Bill Knight Ford of Bartlesville - Bartlesville, OK, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Summary: The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This role ensures that vehicles are serviced to manufacturer standards and customer expectations, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and dealership success. Key Responsibilities: Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs Conduct inspections and test drives to verify repairs and identify additional issues Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks Utilize diagnostic tools and resources to troubleshoot vehicle systems Communicate effectively with the service advisor regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs Document work performed and maintain accurate repair records in compliance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines Ensure all repairs and services comply with safety and quality standards Stay up-to-date with factory training and certifications as required Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area and follow all safety procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Automotive Technician certification (ASE) preferred 1–3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate diagnostic tools, scanners, and basic hand tools Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications: BENEFITS: What We Offer 401(K) Paid Holidays Paid Vacation and Personal Days Health, Dental and Vision insurance for you and your family We pay 60% of premium Life Insurance Discounted Vehicle Purchases Career advancement opportunities, promote from within Clean and professional work environment EEO employer and drug free workplace.
