Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Comfort: Greet patients warmly, walk them to operatories, answer general dental questions, and make sure they feel comfortable before and during procedures. Chairside Assisting: Assist doctors through standard 4-handed dentistry across general restorative care and routine exams. Sterilization & Room Setup: Prepare operatories, set up dental instruments, and sterilize equipment according to health and safety regulations. X-rays & Impressions: Take clear digital dental X-rays and assist with basic impressions or tray setups. Operatory Maintenance: Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. Qualifications: What We Are Looking For Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program / Dental Assistant School (required). Valid Florida Dental Radiography certification (or EFDA). Friendly, cheerful personality with strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a desire to learn and take instruction well. Experience with Dentrix (or general dental software) is a plus, but not required.
