Why Work with Us? Do you have a knack for being clean and tidy? Come join Snowshoe Mountain resort! The custodial position removes solid waste from Snowshoe Village and business units on a daily basis, monitors Snowshoe compactors, and operates Snowshoe's recycle program for all recyclable material and hazardous waste. Job Responsibilities: • Inspect and maintain Snowshoe compactors, reporting issues promptly. • Ensure compactors are operational, clean, and emptied as needed. • Keep compactor areas and village trash cans clean and organized. • Manage trash and recycling collection, including special recyclables. • Coordinate with Pocahontas Recycle and handle special waste needs. • Report equipment defects, maintain cleanliness, and complete reports. • Arrive on time, wear appropriate attire, and participate in training. • Contribute to team efforts and achieve results as directed. Driving: • Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program Preferred Experience: • Ability to move a pull trailer attached to a pick up • Ability to operate a standard shift truck • Knowledge of Snowshoe Mountain and location of departments is helpful All Information above is subject to change at any time.
