Job Description: Strides Therapy & Educational Services is partnering with Berkeley County School District to find a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team. As a Special Educator at Strides Therapy & Educational Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational journey of students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate closely with a team of fellow Special Educators. Additional Details: Expected Hours: 37.5 hours per week Workplace Setting: In-person school; variable locations across Berkeley County (Charleston, North Charleston, Goose Creek) Number of Hires: 7 Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals. • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs. • Monitor and document student progress and participate in IEP meetings. • Implement positive behavior supports and classroom management strategies. • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. • Eligible for or able to obtain South Carolina Department of Education Special Education Certification. • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Dedication to • ongoing professional growth and development in the field of special education.
