Johnson Brothers Ford is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our Main Repair Shop team. We're looking for skilled, motivated technicians who can confidently perform a variety of maintenance and mechanical repairs while delivering quality workmanship. Ford dealership experience and manufacturer certifications are welcome, but they are not required. We value practical experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to doing the job right. This position is ideal for a mid-level technician who takes pride in their work, values efficiency, and wants the opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. What You'll Do • Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical and vehicle performance concerns. • Perform maintenance and general repairs, including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other mechanical components. • Use diagnostic equipment and technical resources to identify vehicle concerns. • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and document findings accurately. • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. • Communicate repair recommendations and findings to Service Advisors. • Maintain accurate repair order documentation. • Continue developing technical skills through available training opportunities. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For • Previous professional automotive repair experience, preferably in a dealership or independent repair facility. • Ability to perform general mechanical repairs with minimal supervision. • Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic procedures and repair practices. • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship. • Dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic. • Ford or ASE certifications are a plus, but not required. • Valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership driving requirements.
