As a local-route driver, you will be delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required. Top candidates will have: • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required. • Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred. • Experience driving as Class A CDL in winter weather conditions and in the construction industry preferred. • Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: • Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance • Leaving the scene of an accident • Committing a felony with a motor vehicle • Reckless driving • Excessive speed Additional qualifications • Have excellent communication skills. • Always think and act with safety in mind. • Ability to creatively solve problems. • Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction.
