The Fairfield Columbus New Albany is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as the Assistant General Manager. As a vital member of our team, the Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will assist in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities: Operational Management: - Assist in managing day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other departments. - Monitor and maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the property. - Implement and enforce hotel policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure compliance and consistency. - Address any operational issues promptly and effectively, seeking solutions to improve efficiency and guest experience. Staff Supervision and Training: - Support the recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff members. - Supervise and provide guidance to department managers and frontline employees to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to standards. - Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork, collaboration, and employee growth.
