Job Details: Job Location: 151 MCQUISTON DRIVE - BATTLE CREEK, MI, Salary Range: $24.72 - $27.58Hourly, Summary: The Route Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to an established customer base through the pick-up and delivery of uniforms, mats, towels, etc.. The Route Service Representative must effectively respond to the customer’s needs and also introduce new products as needed. The Route Service Representative will consistently maintain and present a professional image of Gallagher Uniform through excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities: Provide service in the most professional, timely and courteous way possible Drive considerately and safely at all times Be thoroughly knowledgeable of Gallagher’s products, services and follow all policies and procedures Exchange clean goods for dirty and accurately record amounts into a handheld device Renew Service Agreements Help achieve annual sales targets and average weekly revenue quotas by upselling additional products and service to customers Qualifications: Qualifications & Educational Requirements: High School degree or equivalent Chauffer’s license and a driving record that meets Gallagher Uniform’s insurance carrier standards Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-2 Year DOT (Department of Transportation) card Able to lift and carry bundles weighing up to 85 pounds short distances Able to climb in and out of a truck several times a day in all kinds of weather Outgoing, engaging personality Customer service experience preferred Organized with strong communication skills Able to manage time and meet deadlines Non Tobacco or Cannabis user Willingness to run an overnight route once/week is preferred  Additional information Attractive hourly rate plus commission opportunity for growing accounts Paid vacations and holidays Competitive health insurance including dental and vision Profit sharing 4-day work week (day off cannot be guaranteed until a route is assigned) Excellent training and support Potential for career advancement including opportunities to become a Route Specialist covering multiple accounts
