In this role, you’ll assess resident health status, develop and update care plans, communicate with staff and families, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. You’ll foster a safe, compassionate, and engaging environment while supporting the professional growth of the care team. Wednesday - Saturday What You’ll Do • Assess residents’ health upon admission and ongoing changes in condition, and develop or update individualized care plans • Communicate resident needs and changes to the Director, Health and Wellness, staff, and families • Participate in hands-on care and perform specific nursing tasks per residents’ care plans • Train and support care staff to meet continuing education and competency requirements • Transcribe and review physician orders; monitor medication administration and perform MAR reviews • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen Guidelines • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and report issues to leadership • Work safely and model safe practices for staff; correct unsafe actions as needed • Foster teamwork, show initiative, and positively impact coworkers, residents, and visitors • Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy • Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred • Valid State Nursing License (RN or LPN/LVN); required certifications as mandated by state • Minimum 1 year of nursing or caregiving experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Memory Care • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with human resource rules a plus • Strong clinical assessment skills, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently • Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor Join Milestone to provide exceptional clinical care, support a collaborative team, and positively impact residents’ lives every day.
