Job Details: Job Location: Miami Country Day School - Miami, FL, Salary Range: Undisclosed, General Responsibilities: The Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program. Specific Responsibilities: Attend pre-season coaches meeting with athletic director Sign in and sign out on a daily basis using the ADP program Email parents of the team to update them on a weekly basis Take attendance on a daily basis Assist in distribution of uniforms Assist in collection of uniforms at the completion of the season Plan and organize practice and practice schedules Set up for practices and games Clean up after practices and games Wait for all student-athletes to be picked up after practices and games Work in conjunction with the Athletic Director to facilitate growth of the program Attend end of the season sports awards ceremony Qualifications: Qualifications High School diploma, or equivalency, preferred Bachelors degree. Well-rounded knowledge of physical conditioning methods. A valid First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross, including CPR/AED training. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrate leadership and facilitative skills. Adherence to school philosophy, mission statement, policies, and procedure. Follow Florida High School Athletic Association rules and regulations. Complete on-line concussion test   Physical Requirements and Work Environment Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts. May work at a desk and computer for limited periods of time. May work long hours for extended periods of time. Be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Works in varied and extreme weather conditions, including extreme heat.
