You’ll help customers find the right new or pre-owned vehicle and guide them through the purchasing process from start to finish. What We Offer • Competitive pay: base salary plus commission & bonuses • Consistent, employee-friendly hours: we close at 7:00 PM and are closed on Sundays • 401(k) • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off & sick leave • Paid training and ongoing coaching from experienced managers • Employee discounts on vehicles and service Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers in the showroom, building rapport and understanding their needs • Help customers select the right vehicle based on their wants, needs, and budget • Present and explain vehicle features, performance, benefits, and available options • Offer and coordinate test drives, following dealership procedures and verifying proper identification • Achieve sales goals as outlined by the sales manager • Follow up with prospects and customers to encourage repeat and referral business • Review your performance regularly (daily/weekly/monthly) to continuously improve results and time management Automotive Sales Consultant Requirements • Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred (automotive a plus, but not required) • Comfortable using technology; training provided on all dealership tools and software • Strong customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a positive team player • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record About Us: Maplecrest Ford of Mendham has been proudly providing a customer-first approach to automotive sales and service in Morris County and beyond for 28 years.
