Job Details: Job Location: Red Claw LLC - Houston, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $24.00 - $30.00Hourly, Gulf Electroquip is located in Houston, Texas, USA. We specialize in new, remanufactured and repaired AC and DC motors and generators for the oil & gas, dredging, paper, petrochemical, mining, utilities and transportation industries. Our power equipment can be engineered and manufactured to meet the specific needs of our clients. All our engineering is performed at our facility making sure that exact specifications are met. Performs all level I responsibilities plus independent mechanical and electrical inspections. Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators) Conduct basic electrical tests following written procedures Verify parts against work orders and engineering masters Accurately complete inspection documentation using tablets and ERP system Escalate out-of-spec conditions to supervisor Maintain safe and organized inspection area Move and organize equipment Label and palletize motor parts Independently inspect mechanical components and assemblies Interpret engineering drawings and tolerance specifications Perform electrical testing on motors and generators and interpret results Verify documentation accuracy and rev levels in ERP system Recommend rework, repair, or rejection when necessary Support nonconformance investigations and provide inspection input Ability to identify basic visual failures on motors Qualifications: Ability to read basic mechanical drawings Working knowledge of standard inspection tools Basic computer and tablet proficiency Strong attention to detail
