Job Details: Job Location: Valley View - BELLEVILLE, PA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Maintenance Assistant Valley View Retirement Community Part-Time • 3PM - 11PM • 4 days per pay period • every weekend & rotating holidays Valley View is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the safety of residents, staff, and property. In this role, you will monitor building security, perform light custodial and maintenance tasks, and assist staff and residents as needed. This position is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our community. What You’ll Do Conduct building rounds to ensure doors are locked, security systems are operational, and no unauthorized personnel are present Monitor and investigate unusual observations, taking appropriate action or reporting as necessary Complete door lock and security checklists to document rounds Patrol Valley View Village and parking lots using a company vehicle, assisting as needed and identifying repair needs Escort staff safely to their vehicles upon request Open buildings for authorized entries Perform light custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash in assigned areas Report accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor Make minor repairs or submit maintenance requests as needed Perform other related duties as assigned What You Bring Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety Ability to observe, document, and respond appropriately to unusual situations Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate a company vehicle safely Basic custodial and maintenance skills Why Join Valley View?
