What We Offer: • Family Owned and operated for over 50 Years. • Country/Hometown Friendly Low-Pressure Atmosphere • Consistent, Stable & Reliable management • Excellus Health Insurance - Singles pay $0. • Excellus Dental Insurance • VSP Vision Insurance • AFLAC Supplemental Insurance • Life Insurance included. • 401k Retirement Plan with Company Matching contribution. • Paid Time Off - Sick, Personal, Vacation & Holidays • Paid Training & Professional Certifications • "Family Friendly" work schedule (8am-5pm, M-F, no weekends) • GM Dealer Employee Pricing on New Vehicles • GM Technician Excellence Program Retention Bonuses • $275 to $1500 per quarter based on GM Training & GM Certifications • Plus, Jim Barnard Chevrolet's quarterly Matching $$$ • Plus $2500 annually for World Class Technicians • $500 Gift Card for the purchase of tools to New GM Technicians after 12 months Responsibilities: • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor/Manager. • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership quality standards. • Conduct a thorough multi-point vehicle inspection (MPVI) and document all MPVI findings on a tablet/PC. • Drain Engine Oil & Inspect used oil for any contaminants. • Replace Engine Oil & Filter. • Inspect Engine Air Filter & Cabin Air Filter and replace as needed. • Measure Tire Tread Depth and Inspect Tires for damage & wear. • Check and Adjust Tire Pressures to recommended settings. • Check and Refill Windshield Washer Fluid & Engine Coolant as needed. • Clean and Lubricate grease fittings as needed. • Rotate Tires & Measure brake pad thickness when requested by customer. • Providing excellent customer service, keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first. Qualifications: • Communication skills – communicate effectively with others. • Time management – manage work time efficiently. • Basic computer skills. • Strong work ethic. • Attention to detail & desire to fix it right the first time. • Reliable transportation. • Desire to work on a quality-oriented team. • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check. • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
