Developing / Entry-Level Technicians: Have automotive schooling, maintenance experience, or mechanical ability and want to become a full-line technician? We are also interested in motivated candidates who are ready to learn, train and grow. What You’ll Do • Diagnose, maintain and repair cars, trucks and SUVs • Perform repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications • Work on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC and other vehicle systems based on your skill level • Use modern diagnostic tools and Ford service equipment • Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs • Communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle needs and additional repairs • Perform warranty repairs according to Ford specifications • Continue developing your technical skills through training and hands-on experience What We’re Looking For • Automotive repair or service experience preferred • Automotive education or training is a plus • NYS Inspection License is a plus • ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability • Willingness to learn new vehicle technology and repair procedures • Dependable, positive attitude • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Build Your Career With Ford Today's Ford technician works on much more than engines and brakes.
