Anderson Buick GMC of Hunt Valley is a high-volume dealership, and we’re growing our sales team. If you’ve built a career in restaurants, hotels, retail, customer service, or sales of any kind, your people skills are exactly what we’re looking for. No automotive experience is required. We’ll teach you the rest. How you’re paid This is a 100% commission position. You earn commission on the gross profit of every new and used vehicle you sell, with a minimum commission on each vehicle. You also earn commission on finance and protection products. On top of that, you can earn: • Monthly volume bonuses of $500 to $2,500 when you deliver 10 or more vehicles in a month. • An annual bonus of $10 to $18 for every vehicle you deliver during the year. Training guarantee: For your first 8 weeks, you earn the greater of your commissions or $800 per week, calculated each two-week pay period. Any guarantee amount above your commissions is yours to keep. It is never deducted from future commissions. Pay range: $32,000 – $130,000 per year A schedule that respects your life Car sales has a reputation for long hours. We’ve done things differently: • You work a five-day week, every week, with a scheduled day off. • Your shifts typically alternate between 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and 12 p.m.–9 p.m., so you’ll have some evenings and some mornings free every week. • Saturday shifts are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. What you’ll do • Greet and guide customers in person, by phone, and online, helping them find the right vehicle by asking good questions and listening carefully. • Learn the Buick and GMC lineups inside and out, including trims, packages, and technology, so customers can rely on you as the expert. • Give professional test drives and vehicle demonstrations. • Follow up with customers before and after the sale to build long-term relationships and referral business. • Work closely with your Sales Manager on goals, activity, and your professional development. What we’re looking for • Strong communication skills and genuine enjoyment of working with people. • A self-starter who is eager to learn and wants to grow their income. • Availability for both shift types, including Saturdays. • A professional appearance consistent with our dress code. • A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets our insurance requirements.
