The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong cooking skills, a clean driving record, and a passion for supporting early childhood education in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities • Prepare and serve meals and snacks in compliance with health and safety standards and dietary guidelines. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. • Plan, shop for, and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure freshness and availability. • Drive children and staff safely to and from designated locations as required. • Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled. • Follow all driving laws and guidelines to maintain safety at all times. • Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs and schedules. Requirements • Previous cooking experience, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. {Must have F endorsement or Commercial License} • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask between cooking and driving duties. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Pass background checks and comply with local childcare regulations. • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely. • CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.
