As an Automotive Service Technician at Parkside Kia in Knoxville, Tennessee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our dealership. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, requiring technical skills and strong attention to detail. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on a variety of Kia vehicles. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on Kia vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment - Complete accurate and timely repairs based on dealership and manufacturer standards - Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairs - Keep accurate records of all service and repair work performed - Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician - ASE certifications preferred - Must have own tools and a valid driver's license - Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Parkside Kia is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
