We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Food Service Aide to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. Schedule Requirement: This position requires full open availability, including weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.   What You’ll Do: Prepares assigned food items, including vegetables, fruit, salads, and meal setup. Supports meal service, dining room preparation, and cleanup after meals. Follows proper cleaning, laundry, and sanitation procedures in all work areas. Organizes, stores, and rotates supplies while maintaining food safety standards. Assists with special events, safety practices, and other assigned kitchen duties.   Position Details: On-call role (hours as needed). This position is not eligible for benefits. Qualifications: What You Bring At least 6 months of hands-on food prep experience in a professional kitchen (1 year preferred). Experience working in both kitchen prep and dining/service areas; senior living or healthcare experience is a plus. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and safety guidelines accurately. Professional, dependable, and respectful of resident privacy and confidentiality. Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
