Job Details: Job Location: Christian Elementary School West - El Cajon, CA, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Education, The Instructional Aide will serve as an assistant to the teacher/s in the classroom. Will report directly to the Principal. May be assigned to specific classroom teacher. May re-teach individual or small groups of students in a pullout session. May substitute teach for an absent teacher and/or may have recess, lunch, or playground supervision responsibilities. Will participate in school-sponsored events. Hours will be determined by the Site Principal. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be a mature and growing Christian who is committed to the Christian Unified School’s philosophy of education. Must be able to work individually and/or with small groups of students. Must have the following skills: typing, organizational skills, be able to multi- task, proficient in general office and basic computer skills. If called on to substitute teach in a classroom, must have a college/university degree (CUSSD policy).
