Job Description • Wash, rinse, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to established standards. • Maintain a steady flow of clean dishes and equipment, especially during busy service periods. • Prioritize dishwashing needs based on kitchen volume and communicate with teammates when support is needed. • Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed to help the team stay ahead of demand. • Assist with putting away deliveries and keeping food & supply storage areas clean and organized. Maintain a Clean & Organized Workspace • Keep the dish area, sinks, counters, floors, and surrounding equipment clean and organized throughout the shift. • Regularly inspect dishes and utensils to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized. • Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning and dishwashing supplies and communicate when items are running low. • Properly dispose of trash and recyclables and help keep the entire BOH area clean. Support Food Safety & Sanitation • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures. • Handle and store dishes, kitchen equipment, and cleaning supplies properly.
