Job Details: Job Location: Albuquerque - , NM, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Summary Under direct supervision from assigned CNM Ingenuity Director or Manager, develops and presents short courses and/or workshops, providing personal and/or professional education. Specifically performs one or more of the following: Teaches short-term courses and workshops; creates curriculum; establishes and assesses student performance objectives; determines student grades and keeps accurate records. Mix of theoretical and practical sessions will be required to demonstrate student level of knowledge and understanding. A successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in multiple areas of behavioral heath to support our various non-credit programs in this area. Instruction Pay Rate: $60/ hr Preparatory Pay Rate: $24/hr Developmental Pay Rate: $54/hrQualifications: Essential Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health theory and practice in the community Demonstrated teaching or training skills. Effective written and communication skills. Exceptional customer service abilities. Ability to adjust and adapt curriculum and teaching styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders and students. Additional assignments based on skills may become available. Other duties as assigned. Minimums Four years of experience in a behavioral health setting OR Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field (may count as four years of experience) AND One (1) year of related teaching or training experience. Preferences Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field Experience with development of curriculum or training materials Familiarity with current trends and best practices in addiction recovery Certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention Experience with trauma-informed approaches Familiarity with community resources and social service programs Conditions of Employment This position requires a Criminal Background Check.
