Job Details: Job Location: Main Office - Newton, MA, Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00, TRAVEL - Per Diem Weekend CNA Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a per Diem Weekend CNA to join its expanding Home Care Aide team. This position requires a commitment to working EVERY weekend, either Saturday and Sunday or just one day. This is a TRAVEL position. Reliable access to a car is required. Care is provided in patients’ private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of MetroWest. Most of our patients’ locations are not accessible by public transportation   Job Responsibilities: The Per Diem Weekend CNA provides hospice client care within their scope of practice consistent with the plan of care as outlined by the Nursing Care Coordinator and in compliance with Good Shepherd Community Care guidelines.   Schedule and Weekly Hours: This position requires a commitment to working EVERY weekend, either Saturday and Sunday or just one day. There are no specific shift lengths on the weekends.    Education, Skills and Experience: Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts with a minimum of 75 hours of clinical study, including classroom training and a minimum of 16 hours of supervised practical training. Experienced working with diverse populations. Is professional, reliable, organized, and demonstrates effective communication skills.
