This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to safely and accurately extract maximum performance while maintaining reliability. Benefits: • 401k Retirement Plan • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Life Insurance • Disability Benefits • Paid Time Off (Up to 3 weeks per year) Responsibilities: • Operate chassis dynamometer safely and efficiently • Tune engines using aftermarket tuning software (fuel, ignition, boost, etc.) • Analyze data logs and make precise adjustments for optimal performance • Work closely with the engine builder and service team on performance builds • Diagnose drivability and performance issues • Maintain dyno equipment and ensure safe operating procedures • Document tuning results and provide clear feedback to the team and customers Qualifications: • Experience with engine tuning and/or dyno operation preferred • Knowledge of EFI systems, fuel mapping, and forced induction systems • Familiarity with tuning platforms (Power Vision, ECU flashing, standalone systems, etc.) • Strong understanding of engine performance principles • Ability to read data logs and make informed adjustments • Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and safety • Able to pass a background-check and drug test Young Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
