Love teaching, but want a school that gives you the structure, resources, support, and time to do your best work?
Community Leadership Academy is hiring an exceptional 3rd Grade Teacher who believes students thrive with strong instruction, clear expectations, meaningful relationships, and a classroom culture centered on learning.
At CLA, teaching is treated as a craft. We provide established curriculum, instructional resources, classroom supplies, professional development, feedback, and clear expectations so teachers can focus on what matters most: helping students learn and grow.
WHY TEACHERS NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE HERE
189-Day Teacher Calendar
Our 2026–2027 teacher calendar includes meaningful breaks throughout the year, including:
9 consecutive days around Fall Break
9 consecutive days around Thanksgiving
17 consecutive days around Winter Break
A 4-day February weekend
9 consecutive days around Spring Break
Labor Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day off
Summer beginning in May
No scheduled teacher workdays in June
That means real opportunities to travel, spend time with family, recharge, enjoy Colorado, and have a life outside of school.
Your Paycheck Should Not Be Your Classroom Supply Budget
CLA provides classroom supplies, instructional materials, curriculum resources, technology, and the everyday materials teachers need to teach effectively.
Established Curriculum and Instructional Resources
You will not be expected to create an entire academic program from scratch. Teachers work with an established curriculum, yearlong planning, assessments, benchmarks, rubrics, exemplars, and clear instructional expectations.
Professional Development That Supports Your Craft
We believe excellent teaching is learned, practiced, refined, and supported.
Teachers receive professional development, coaching, classroom feedback, collaboration opportunities, and instructional support designed to strengthen real classroom practice.
Staff Beverage Station
Coffee and beverages are available for staff because the small things matter, too.
Support When Students Need More
Teachers work with administrators, instructional leaders, Learning Specialists, and other professionals to support students with a variety of academic and learning needs.
Benefits That Support Your Life
Full-time employees are eligible for the school’s employee benefits package, retirement benefits, scheduled school holidays and breaks, and personal time off in accordance with school policy.
MEANINGFUL WORK IN A COMMUNITY THAT NEEDS GREAT TEACHERS
Community Leadership Academy serves a diverse, historically underserved community. We believe a child’s background should never determine his or her academic future.
Our teachers have the opportunity to help students build the knowledge, confidence, habits, and academic skills that can expand what is possible for them in school and in life.
We do not lower expectations when students face challenges. We increase support.
If you became a teacher because you want your work to matter, you may have found your school.
