Job Summary: The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, accurately assessing vehicle needs, and effectively communicating with customers and technicians. Responsibilities: • Greet customers promptly and professionally, building rapport and establishing trust. • Actively listen to customer concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle problems. • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs and maintenance. • Prepare accurate and detailed repair orders, including parts, labor, and estimated costs. • Obtain customer approval for repairs and services. • Communicate effectively with technicians, ensuring clear understanding of repair instructions. • Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed of any delays or changes. • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. • Schedule service appointments and manage customer expectations. • Promote service specials and other dealership offerings. • Maintain accurate customer records and service history. • Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures. • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred. • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
