We're looking for a Highly Skilled Lawn & Garden Service Technician who wants more than just a job — someone ready to build a career. @ What You’ll Be Doing • Diagnose and repair John Deere lawn & garden equipment (tractors, zero-turns, gators, compact utility tractors) — plus other brands sold at our dealership. • Perform small engine diagnostics and maintenance to keep outdoor power equipment performing at its best. • Participate in John Deere University training and dealer-led programs to keep your skills sharp. • Stay ahead of the curve with ongoing training and manufacturer certifications- training is the seed of growth. • Keep vehicles, tools, and equipment in top shape while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. • Complete work orders, track materials, and account for billable time with accuracy. @ What Skills You Should Posses Here are the skills you should have in your toolbox: • Diagnostic Skills: Able to troubleshoot and repair small engines, turf equipment, and lawn & garden machines. • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in turf equipment. • Customer Focus: Ensure the right repairs are done in a timely and thoughtful manner. • Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing training through John Deere University and service programs, company paid. • Equipment Operation: Capable of safely operating mowers, gators, and small tractors for diagnostic purposes. • Workplace Organization: Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment. • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately completes all reports, work orders, and documentation @ What Makes You an Ideal Candidate?
