Job Details: Job Location: Legal Address - Jacksonville, FL, Salary Range: $93000.00 - $103000.00Salary/year, A Paramedic (EMT-P) is a person qualified as required by Florida State Statute 401 and has a current Florida Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Certification to provide Advanced Life Support medical care and serves on a Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support Ambulance.  An Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic may drive an ALS or BLS unit or serve as the senior Medical Technician on an ALS or BLS unit, depending on the needs of the patient. Qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age.   Hold a current Florida Class E License.   Have and maintain a good driving record.   Be in generally good physical health.   Be free of any mental illness.   Be free from addiction to alcohol or drugs.   Have a high school diploma, equivalent certification, or a GED.   Possess a current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider certification.   Possess a current Certification as a Florida Paramedic.   Have Documentation of completion of state required 16-hour EVOC course or the equivalent.   Has not been convicted of a DUI/DWI in the last 7 years.   Has completed (from the DHS FEMA Training Website): ICS – 100a, Introduction to Incident Command System. IS-5a, Introduction to Hazardous Materials. IS 700, Introduction to National Incident Management System. IS-800, Introduction to the National Response Plan.
