You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their dining experience with us. Responsibilities: Understand completely and articulate the details of all food and beverage menus. Make appropriate recommendations and take guests’ orders. Read the table and determine the correct approach. Anticipate what the guests want and do not want. Promote and support the restaurants’ overall philosophy. Communicate with floor managers. Monitor food delivery and beverage service. Perform all technical service functions during the course of a service. Stay up to date on any menu changes during service. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time. Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner. Qualifications: Previous restaurant experience preferred. Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time. Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs. Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask efficiently. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
